Welcome to our privacy policy. Looboo Media Ltd (”we”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit it from) and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

This privacy policy aims to give you information on how we collect and process your personal data through your use of this website, including any data you may provide directly through this website.

Our nature of business is video marketing, training and production.

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the data controller is Looboo Media Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with company registration number 11377369 and whose registered office is at 29a High Street, West Wickham, Kent BR4 0LP17. Our ICO registration number is NUMBER.

HOW DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION?

You acknowledge and agree that from time to time we have the right to share your personal information with:

Any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.

Active Campaign LLC, (“ActiveCampaign”) based in the United States, for use of their online customer relationship management;
Acuity Scheduling Inc. (“Acuity”) based in the United States, for online scheduling software;
Facebook Inc. (“Facebook”) based in the US and Ireland, for use of their social media platform;
Stripe Inc. (“Stripe”) based in the US, for processing payments; and
select business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with you.
 
Other than as expressly set out in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise required or permitted by law, we will not share, sell, or distribute any of the information you provide to us without your consent. We will disclose your personal information to third parties in the following cases:

WHERE DO WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION?

All personal data we process is processed by our staff.

For the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance this information is maybe transferred to a cloud service provider which has data servers which are based outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).

Some of our external third parties such as ActiveCampaign, Acuity, Facebook and Stripe are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA) so their processing of your personal data will involve a transfer of data outside the EEA.

Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the EEA, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:

Where we use certain service providers, we may use specific contracts approved by the European Commission which give personal data the same protection it has in Europe.
Where we use providers based in the US, we may transfer data to them if they are part of the Privacy Shield which requires them to provide similar protection to personal data shared between the Europe and the US. For further details, see European Commission: EU-US Privacy Shield.
Appropriate security measures will be adopted to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage.

Once we have received your information, we have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data and we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

However, and unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our website at transmission stage; any transmission is at your own risk.


HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION FOR?

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. However, we generally retain your data for two (2) years before we delete it.

we are required under UK tax law to keep basic personal data about our customers (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed.

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further policy to you.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one day. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
